My nickname, it's Millie (from Amelia). My blog consists of things that I like, things of interest, things I'm passionate about, and sometimes how I feel at any given moment. I breathe: art, design, music, food, movies/tv shows (die hard horror and science fiction fan, but you wouldn't know that judging from my blog), fashion, Old Hollywood, and some current/recent actors and actresses.

“All the best stories in the world are but one story in reality, the story of escape. It is the only thing which interests us all and at all times, how to escape.”  - A.C. Benson

To me, a book is a fairly obvious metaphor for a human body: aside from the fact that it has a spine, it’s also bigger on the inside than it is on the outside, and it can harbor secrets. One can either be put off or invited into it depending on how it’s structured and what’s offered as the point of entry. It can affect how the whole story is felt.
